As legalization, demand and supply increase, cannabis will become a commodity and prices will decline.

That’s why the model of simply growing cannabis will not be a long-term winning strategy.

At the same time, we are just starting to scratch the surface on the medical benefits of cannabis; this is where the true value of cannabis will not only last, but increase.

That’s why at Allied, we go far beyond growing cannabis.

Instead, we strategically leverage an end-to-end business model that enables us to also rapidly identify where people most need help, isolate therapeutic strains to precisely address those unmet needs, and bring unique and effective products to market with the help of our genetic specialists and doctors.

The short answer is because our founder and CEO, Calum Hughes, has a passion for helping people experience greater health.

But to provide a bit more background, Calum had spent over a decade in hospital settings, managing quality assurance teams in 7 facilities, and acting as a Director of a full-scope 140 bed hospital.

Working as a clinician, Calum created Physical & Functional Diagnostic Tools and Chronic Disease Management Protocols for Cardiovascular, Orthopedic, Obesity, Respiratory, Brain Injury, and Cerebrovascular disease.

He has also created teaching resources and presented at top-level educational presentations regarding Change Management, Quality Improvement, Personality & Communication, Project Management and Lean Manufacturing Method for Healthcare.

Then, while working towards his Doctorate degree, teaching at the University of British Columbia, and creating software that enabled legal cannabis producers in Canada to manage quality assurance audits, Calum was involved in over 48 Health Canada applications and licensing processes.

He got to know what was working and what wasn’t when it comes to high-quality premium cannabis production. Calum knew he needed to do something meaningful and helpful with all that experience and knowledge.

That’s why we founded Allied Corp. And now we have an entire team that’s passionate about helping people experience greater health.

Allied is a licensed producer (LP) of cannabis in Colombia for medical, research and industrial applications. We’re leveraging the ideal conditions of our grow operation in Colombia to support our R&D efforts.

Our cost of production in Colombia is as low as 10 to 15 cents per gram; when compared to the $1.50 to $2.00 per gram cost of production in Canada, our operations in Colombia represent a significant business advantage.

First is our diversified, vertically integrated strategy: we leverage large-scale cannabis production and processing in Colombia and combine it with cutting-edge proprietary plant genetics.

Second, is our passion for helping people by contributing to the R&D and product development that enables them to experience greater health.

Vertically integrated from seed to patient means…
